Stay Pay Calculations
Where do I define how a stay pay deals are calculated?
Tourplan provides the tools for Organisations to configure detailed stay–pay rules directly within the product rates, allowing stay pay rules to be implemented in line with negotiated agreements. Users can define repeat counts for stay/pay rules, specify whether extras attached to a product are charged during free-of-charge (FOC) nights or included within the promotion, and control how payable nights are calculated. With configurable options such as applying the chargeable rate to the first night, last night, lowest rate, or repeating on either end of the stay, operators can support complex contractual pricing structures while ensuring compliance, accuracy, and operational efficiency.
Tourplan NX allows users to assign the various supplier requirements when costing a stay/pay deal. The product application has the ability to define how the stay pays are to be calculated. To view the options open the Rates and select the Date Range then select the Other Tab.
The options available are to set the FOC calculations to the:
-
Cheapest - applies the FOC nights to the cheapest rate of the stay
-
First - applies the first night stay as the FOC
-
Last - applies the last night stay as the FOC
-
