External Supplier Cancellation Fees

Can external supplier cancellation fees be applied in Tourplan?

Tourplan NX cancellation policies can be configured to apply cancellation rules returned from the external system when a service is cancelled. If a cancellation fee applies an additional service line is added to the booking for the fee, in the same manner as for internal rates.

 

This functionality requires the external supplier system and the connection to be configured to:

• cancel the service

• return cancellation policy data when a service is cancelled.

 

Tourplan NX Cancellation Rules Setup

External Cancellation Rules can be defined at the Supplier or Product level when selecting the Fee Category > External. The Internal Fees tab is removed from the Cancellation Rules allowing external cancellation rules to apply.

Note: All other service setup, markup , and commission controls are still available.
