Interactive Tourplan Screens for Message Substitution Codes

Substitution codes in Tourplan are used to extract information from fields in Tourplan into your Messages or Documents. Message Templates are designed in Microsoft Word and uploaded into Code Setup. Message Definition Templates will use Substitution Codes which are recognized by delimiters < and > surrounding the code and when the message is generated the Substitution Code is replaced with data from Tourplan NX.

A Substitution Code exists for almost any field in the Tourplan NX System this allows documentation to be unique and designed for users organizational requirements.

The next chapter provides you with an interactive view for a selection of Tourplan NX screens where you are able to click on the field to display the Substitution Code required to extract this data.
