INI Settings Explained
How do system INI Settings work?
The INI Settings in Tourplan NX can define default values, implement software features and control how the system works. A default system configuration is achieved when INI Settings are defined for 'All' users. However, some of these settings can also be customerised 'Per User'. This enables you to define a company-wide default configuration whilst allowing certain users to apply individual preferences.
NOTE: To achieve system efficiency, it is advised that you set up company-wide default INI Settings before implementing individual user preferences.
Default INI Settings
Company-wide default settings are established within Code Setup > INI Settings.
Individual User INI Settings
Individual user setting variations can be enabled within either Code Setup > INI Settings, or System > Security Setup > Users.
To find more information on viewing a users INI Settings see View Users INI Settings.
