Room Policies - Room Capacity
How can I ensure the number of pax booked does not exceed the room capacity?
Room policies help define occupancy limits, child policies, and other important guidelines that control how rooms can be booked. When set up correctly within your product configuration, these policies prevent overbooking.
Make sure that:
-
The maximum occupancy is clearly defined for each room type.
-
Adult, With Children, With Children and Infants capacity limits are correctly specified.
-
-
Age policies are defined.
When room policies are correctly configured at the supplier level (for all products) or product level (for product variations), the system will automatically apply the number of rooms required for the number of pax in the booking - ensuring the booking does not exceed the defined capacity.
