Multi Language Options - webConnect & hostConnect

webConnect and hostConnect can provide a multi language experience for agents.

NOTE: All alternative language options must be defined within Tourplan NX before they can be used as a language solution and the multi-language function within webConnect / hostConnect needs to be enabled.

Important note: Organisations wishing to migrate to NX v2.0 will need to be aware of the enhanced language features. A language translation project is suggested to discuss your operational requirements with your local Tourplan support office.

Overview

There are several ways that webConnect / hostConnect can be configured to meet the language requirements of any organisation:

UI Language

Within webConnect, organisations can define the language in which the user interface (UI) will be displayed. Alternatively, webConnect/hostConnect can be configured to match an agent’s default Tourplan NX language. Languages must be defined in Code Setup in Tourplan NX see UI Languages for more information.

Supplier and Product Fields

Language translations within the Product Setup > Supplier menu allow multi language data entry for a number of fields, including supplier name & address, product name, comments, descriptions, as well as product pickup points. Information can be configured to display in alternative languages for webConnect/hostConnect as needed.

Multi-language notes defined within Tourplan NX can be displayed in webConnect/hostConnect.
