What are the two main markup strategies to choose from when setting up Tourplan NX?

The two main mechanisms for applying Markup (or discount) are:

Price Code

Each product rate (for each date range) will include a price code. This is a code attached which can store different rates for different tiers of your market. The use of Rate Maintenance when using the Price Code method offers a convenient way for users to create and update rates in bulk.

Markup Using Price Codes

DMC (Discount, Markup Commission) Matrix

This is an efficient powerful tool and has the flexibility of applying Discount, Markup and/or Commission to a range of product and/or agents as a single markup rule attached to either the product range and/or agent range. The DMC setup can be used in conjunction with a Price Code Setup if required.
